55-YEAR-old man has been released on bail after police discovered a marijuana crop in a Springvale backyard.

 

Police said 250 plants from 60cm to 180cm were found about 5pm on Monday. They were growing among vegetables and in a shed.

 

The man was charged with trafficking, cultivating, using and possessing marijuana.

 

He was ordered to appear at Dandenong Magistrates' Court next month.
