2 1/2 Weeks Flowering THEN Dry In A Grow Tent...(?) HELP!

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

1st time (indoor hydro) cropper here - Just got word I have to go away for work for a bit, and my girls only just started showing themselves last Wednesday...! The other half is a non-supporter and of no assistance (THANKS Sweety!) so I've got just under 2 weeks (12 days only) to make some HARSH decisions.

Can I harvest a flowering plant that's only been budding since May 9th, on May 26th?

If so, can I use my indoor grow tent as a drying space for 3-4 weeks?

ANY help would be great...!!

If not, sadly it's the compost heap...

>_<

Why not set up an automated watering system.

It saves the hassle of hand watering, all you need is a nutrient reservoir and a pump.

When I switched from handwatering to automatic, it made life much easier

-BANG BANG!

oh yeah, hallelujah brother!

so much easier flicking a pump switch for a couple of minutes instead of hand watering every single one.

Keep in mind though that if it's your first grow then maybe hand watering is good for getting a feel for it but when 94 litre plastic tanks with lids cost $18 or something, fark that. I'm filling my tanks up every 10 days or something. hehe

lazy efficiency freaks FTW! :D

Hey Guys

Thanks for all the replies.

As T.A.C. said, my concern for automated (unchecked) is the fire risk. So it looks like the girls are heading for the heap, or I'll have to find someway to discreetly put them outside.

WHERE THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY..!!! - I won't give up on my babies without a fight...!

I can hear my 'sweetheart' now, 'Outside...?! No way! What if someone finds them...?!' Thanks love...!

So.........

IF

By some miracle I was to come out victorious in this challenge, when I get back, are there any ideas on using the Grow Tent as a drying room?

Yeah man your tent will do it no probs, leave your fresh air ventilation / exhaust running thought your filter and leave the light off. If you have a oscillating fan or anything in the tent turn it off too, through ventilation will be fine.

Good luck!!
