Is that mould on my weed?

Iv had this about a month and just noticed a fine brownish yellow dust forming all over which wasn't there when I got it. I know this because I separated it into portions in case any became contaminated with mould which has happened to me before (although I remember is to be white, fuzzy and smelly had to throw it all away :-(). The other portions are fine. This doesnt smell at all. WTF is it?? The photo shows the dust from where I tapped the bud on the plate. Not sure if it is easy to see on the bud in the pic. Has anyone seen this before?? Do you think it is safe to vape or should i flush it??

in a zip lock bag in an airtight container. Along with another stash also in a zip bag which seems fine. Why doesn't it smell??

Maybe a stupid question but what is iso oil and can it be vaped??

Iso oil is a form of hash. When you soak the bud with isoproyl alcahol, the THC (as well as some other things) are stripped from the plant and remain in the iso. You separate the iso from the bud, and dry it out. Make sure you vape off the iso thouroughly ( look in the hash forums for specifics on this). And yes, you can inhale through vaporisation.

 

Yeah, if your iffy about it, id definitly reccomend turning the bud into some form of hash rather than throwing it out.

If the other is ok, get it away from the bad stuff. Wash your hands first, make sure they are dry. Put the good stuff in an air tight jar and if you can get some of those silica gel bags they put in with electronic equipment to absorb moisture you may save the good buds. A bitch when that happens but this wet weather we are getting around Aus is causing lots of problems.

Burn it off with a lighter, and then get rid of it if you can.

If its really good bud, and its only on the plants outside,

I find a good burn off generally works okay to fight it.

 

Then try and dry it out more, wipe down a jar with metho, and store it in there,

breathing it regularly.

Oh, that is some nasty looking mould.

 

I would recommend against using that bud, in any shape or form, including making iso oil out of it. Some moulds are toxic if ingested and smoking or extracting that bud could easily lead to you ingesting any toxins present.
