When I was a kid in Brisbane during the Joe reign, I had my car searched more times than I can remember. Definately over a dozen times, close to 2 dozen I'd reckon and that's no shit. We lived in fear just driving around of the cops back then. It's all coming back again...

All it will do is force more people in NSW to grow there own stash, they can never really win this war of eroding peoples rights and freedoms.

 

Drug barrons will just use boats, light planes or a convoy of cars with two way radios to avoid detection.

 

Better of putting cops in sydney and stop all the gang shooting there at the moment, than using all those resources to bust some family man with a few grams.

i have to agree with you jack frost with the convo of cars and 2 way radios you could even just use a bloddy mobile phone.with a car say 20 min ahead of you .The thing is its all for show ,the police need to be seen to be doing something about the drug problem.Seriously the pigs announce that they are doing a series of border checks blah blah with there dogs they tell us that they will be conducting 3 or 4 more of these over the next 18 months and let us know when there doing therer first one.if you look at the caution system in place for cannabis in n.s.w it proves either they want to catch the most stuipid crooks around or as i suspect its just a publicity stunt.

If you are cautioned twice, you must attend compulsory drug counselling. On thethird occasion, the case must go to court.For people under the age of 18, the cautioning system extends to small quantitiesof other drugs as well as cannabis, and includes cultivation offences (up to 5plants)
