It's over. We've lost drugs war, report says

Recommended Posts

Hey, sorry, didnt mean to be irritating! I dont actually have any involvement whatsoever with that site, I am was just attempting to inspire people to look into something that seems to be a relevant issue. Didnt mean to offend and have not really posted on forums before so will go back and reread the rules. thanks

nope, not that organised, just a 5 step memory :D

This is a major step that really needs the support of the public, the ordinary joe blog who is not necessarily affiliated with the drama of drugs, just the concept of dealing with and understanding addiction and substance abuse. I am amazed that some academics and people in high places who are very intelligent (although the ones I have met never seem to have any common sense) have actually started approaching this issue from a different perspective, it is a huge positive step towards decriminalisation. I would hope that with the power of social media, the people can actually have a voice and get the ball rolling.

I have looked but I can not find an Australian forum about drug law reform. Does anyone have any ideas? A site where membership does not imply drug user?

Fisrt of all got to say the use of "WAR" , is such are carefully chosen word they use isnt it?

On 2GB yesterday did any one hear Alan Jones talk about it. Because I was very supprised with his support,

he understands the real damage its doing to society. I was happy to hear someone with brains.

Then Ray Hadley , same station carries on all day with his views about how stupid the idea is?

How do you make people understand the real truth when nothing is going to change there minds.

My parents are brainwashed sheep, they think your evil if you touch the stuff, ill never change there minds! ahh

I think it's sad that too many (voting) people think that self important people like Alan Jones and John Laws actually mean anything to anyone.

These people are nothing but opinionated old fashioned fools who are too self righteous to accept a formal debate without proper preparation (hence hanging up on their callers who present an intelligent opposing opinion)

Not that they're not allowed to agree with me but I'm not about to flip around when a bald "confirmed bachelor" spouts his rhetoric

Remember this? :D

If you don't, I'm sure there are plenty of older members who remember what happened, lol

If anything, words from the most highly rated AM talkback hosts are more damaging and only lead the sheople into misleading thoughts and unnecessary fear and outrage.

Now if we were talking about echidnas, that's a different story
