Experience with digital ballasts

Ive run lumateks for about 3 years now. 400's and 600's.

 

running at 22000hz compared with magnetic 50hz they do have very continuous light. Also,

 

They also have a low amp start up.. and slowly build to full power of 2.7amps for a 600w. This i've found is good for multiple light's firing at the same time. (lowering the initial shock draw)

 

I dont have the dimmable models but that would be beneficial for vege.

 

They are super quiet and are very efficient at dispersing heat generated. ( They dont get very hot)

 

Saying all this, I did have one 400w just die on me after 2 years? But they do have a 3 year warranty so that was fixed!
