help!have i f%$ked em?

Recommended Posts

hey all...havent had a puter for a bit...but today got it fixed by computer dude, and thank god!!!!

i need u guys!!!! my plants...all 17 fems...are doing gr8...all ranging in height from tiny fat little 12 cms galz, to huge (for me anyway, they r only about 2 months old???)big muthas that r 1m tall.

..but after having to spend 2 days inside...after they were sexed already about two weeks ago(...i pulled the men then..).well i had to hide em inside for 2 days..so..i didnt see that my fert was too strong...a few of the fan like leaves have dropped...and also they r showing signs of being burnt bad...light new growth(tho lots of it, even in dark :S), and brown spots, that r brittle....

and...my biggest mutha...seems to have turned hermy???i didn't know that could happen...but it must b cause i had to hide em inside for 2 days..(thought anything would be better than risking losing em...now not so sure!!!! :D she deffo has tho..she has little 'balls- i had to chop them off...but once this has happened, it cant turn back, can it???is this the plants sensing they need male hormones to survive(thinking they were gonna die from overfert and dark)

what to do???

well...they r back outside...and by the way, thought they r outsiders..they r in vermicilite, and clay balls for drainage...they do well like this...prob need a light, but this sun is soooo good here at the moment, i just cant imagine it would /could get any better anyways...???

well...anyways..i would sure like your advice on this guys...as i have needed your advice like never b4 with this!!!!!!!

help....help!!!!!!!!!!

o..and by the way..these buds are doing gr8!!! so many tiny buds popping up everywhere!!!! so i guess these fan leaves arent too important anyway???some ppl say u need em for shade...others say sod that, u need to get rid of em to get light to ur buds..i dunno...first time grower...

looking forward to ur spiels!!!!!go hard!!!

Plants usually have to get pretty bad before they will hermie from already showing female. That's the case for decent stable strains anyway. The bigger one was probably a boy all along. Boys do tend to grow taller in the early months. this is natural, as it allows them to drop pollen on their hairum from above. :( Kill the boy.... he deserves to die.

Fan leaves are important. They are the biggest source of sugars for your buds to grow fat. Leave them on. They aren't called fan leaves beacause they "keep the plant cool". They just look like a fan... well I guess they do when you're stoned anyway. ::D:

You mentioned that you have moved the plants..... So I am hoping they are in pots. Flush them out really well with clean water. Depending on your fert re'geme with the medium you are using, you should be flushing them out regularly anyway. ferts build up quick in the medium you describe, which will burn them off bad If you don't keep an eye on it.

Don't fert them again until they are showing obvious signs of picking up well. Fert them at half strength for a while, and build them up slow. they should be fine.

Good luck man. How about some pics. :(

hi there..

well..ok...first they r in pots..big pots..with sox and all...and drainage holes(i drilled em myself..not bad for a chick!)in vermilcilite and clay rocks at bottom..so not too hard to move just those plants..those tall ones especially are hard to hide...stealth tips needed/wated too!!!

ok...and that hermy..well..it def isnt just a male...buds all over...i mean...fems dont have flowers like that, u know...deffo was a girl...cut off offending balls...looking closly, but hvent killed it yet..will transfer it i think..might be intresting..just to like see what happens..obviously i will keep it far away from others(will go inside under fluros...till i have enough to swap a mate for light see, otherwise would have them under light...but shit...how many lights for that many???at least 3, i say??

well...so far so good..with the others...no signs of more balls of that dreaded pollen coming up.

also...i will pop this on another post too...but i am short of week till pay day..another 2 days..:(..need to know..what part of the plant should i touch..not touch...and should i wash it first..methods for drying???all hints sooo much appreciated guys..

k..well..as i am a first timer..well taking it more serious than a few seeds chucked on the wetlands to see what happens kind of shit...i just got one lot of fert...a one liter all in one stuff, worked gr8...so bought 4 L one...BLOOM it is called..from hydro man.um....well...plants seem to be picking up already..they look happy anyway..sorry no pics yet...hassles as only just got puter on, need to get digi cam and scanner and shit

plants are gr8..i mean...i swear, even without light...these plants are like growing 'bought a cm a day...outward and upward..

by the way..thats what i found so dissapointing..at sexing time having to chuck those boys out(they were huge!!!)very disheartening to think of ALL THAT FERT BEING SUCKED UP FOR WHAT??? will just use mainly water to see what happens to these hermys..i mean they can have a bit of fert..but thats cool if they die, anyway

ok..well enough ranting for now...eager to hear your tales again..plz..all advice is gr8..good and bad..wanting to pick all your brains..:D

thanks guys, and girls!!
