What do you look for in a strain?

Like the title says. What do you look for in a strain, and why?

 

I'm a sucker for the exotic-sounding strains and a motivated high.

Me personally a strong indica before bed, nothing like a good sleep! Also takes the edge off the pain caused by surgery, that pain-killers cannot do..

 

Though if i'm out and about, a nice sativa rolled up definitely serves its purpose as an head high

i like a 50/50 mix......... I dont smoke as much as i use to these days due to my job and its on going testing.... but i like something that is good to have a laugh on and good to kick back relax chuck on movie and then RAPE the fridge and pantry

many things, i like a nice sativa high, motivational. fruity smell and flavour like mango or tropical punch, lemon is nice also.

looks wise i also prefer the delicate look of a sativa

structure i like a nice short hybrid with tight nodes but enough light penetration from skinny leaves to allow for nice sideways branching, i like those branches that reach out then up.not a fan of strains where all branches head straight up crowding the main cola

good coating of trichs.

 

i guess a nice 75%sat/25% indi hybrid if its done well

 

this one is ticking all the boxes so far

notice the nice open sativa structure but she is still very short with very tight nodes. ideal. nice elgant looking plant with light pink stems

that looks pretty much all sativa so fargetiwas here... all the same sativas are great for day time smoke

Tight internodes, decent lateral growth, no sensitivities to nutrients or environmental conditions, no excessive hunger, pungent aroma, award winners, infamous strains, fast switch to bloom with little stretch, plants capable of growing in different grow styles, tasty, fruity erb', trichome production on fan leaves, quick finishers, decent bag appeal, easy to manicure and high thc concentrations.......
