Ok...so not sure if this is where to post this subject :pokey: (had to use this emotion cause its sssssooooo FUNNY...his pokin him in da eye with a stick WTF!?)

A couple days ago I had one of those "OH NO! FUCK" moments. I top my plants & was going to tie down my babies as they are getting a bit weighty & big. This is what happened to one of them...a total *DOH my badness moment*

:stunned: post-46696-0-33591600-1331259805_thumb.jpg :crybaby:

I split the biatch about 2cm down the stem in the centre...I didn't have plumbers tape which I normally use. As it does not have adhesive & is easy to remove once the minor breaks are healed. It was LATE + I was tired so I simply used masking tape which is all I could think of. Do you guys think the adhesive/glue crap on the tape will do more harm then good? If so...what else could I use to hold the stem in place just till the stem has time to fuse back together? Does Bunnings sell some kind of gardener's tape and/or something along those lines? Any help is great...it should only take a week give or take for it to be heal....just never used masking tape before on a plant & kind of scared I'm going to shock the plant then it needs to be :thankyou:

it should be ok , if your really worried get some gardners tape , but if its been taped up a while now I would just leave it , hopefully its starting to heal already

you can use pop sticks and tape to make a little splint for support , or tie the branch to another one . if it can hold its own weight with just the tape I would leave it at that
