Cost to run 600W or 400W <acronym title='High Pressure Sodium'>HPS</ac

Hey guys,

 

just wanted to know if anyone had a rough idea of what a 400W or 600W HPS would cost to run for a month/quarter?

 

I dont want to set something up then see a million dollar power bill at the end of it.

Prices of electricity vary from state to state. Ring the appropriate company and ask how much they charge per KW.

i last ran 2x600w lights 3 weeks on 18 on than 10 on our bill from memory was $330 this was the only power from the house being used besides a fridge we were paying $0.18c per 1000w also forgot we did have a small clone/pre veg area using a 150w MH plus fans in both grow rooms
