Outdoor Growing Guide v 1.0

Recommended Posts

There is no "right" in growing.

You can grow indoors under lights, even under 24/0, for a few weeks before spring starts. Here in oz, there are few areas which experience such short growing seasons as to really require this. It's done, usually, as an exercise to give em a better start to life. And then transfer them outdoors for the flowering cycle.

If you go 24/0 and throw em outdoors, they'll likely go into a preflowering stage, as there is no 24/0 on earth, except at the poles. They could revert back to vegetative growth if the daylight hours are long or increasing steadily, but if you did the same thing in autumn or winter, it'd likely just flower out, yeah. But there's also the stress of such a move. If you're moving plants from indoor to outdoor growth, it's usually recommended to shade the plants for the first week or two, with some light shadecloth or similar, to get them used to their new environment. The sun is a sight more powerful than an indoor fluoro or hid. :D

I hope that helps red dragon, you should know that there are few absolutes in growing plants, only guidelines. :D They're fairly forgiving plants, as these things go. :D
