praise the lord

Recommended Posts

well, as some of you may or may not know, i posted in the seeds forum looking for a site with free seeds.... and so today i was walking along a track on the hill behind my house when i come across a plastic bag. insode the bag is a half dead plant!!!! it has onlly about 6 leaves on it, with 3 growing tips of lush green, and a few dead yellow leaves on the bottom, so i scooped it up, took it home, and planted it in the plot i was to use for the seeds. so hopefully it makes some sort of recovery and produces some nice bud... :P

thanks, i think im going to need it. i just cant understand how someone could raise a little plant to a foot tall, then just dump it on the side of the road. any ways, are there any tips you guys might have on giving it some strength? i have some fish emulsion, but i think i remember reading somewhere that it stunts growth. is this true??

thanks in advance

You have much to learn grasshopper... search this site, google etc for the information you're after. Fish emulsion is fine if used properly like all other fertilizers. Whoever told you it stunted growth is full of shit and I would question any further advice they may give you.

Read the growing FAQ on this very site..

Mystikal, I myself have found the world often works like this, the unwritten laws of karma seem to work for those that deserve it, whether we like it or not sometimes!

If i was you i wouldnt give it any fetiliser at all but just plant it in plain potting mix for a couple of weeks to make sure it survives. If it lives to become a hemaphradite which stressed plants most often do you will get seeds for the next gen. As far as the 12/12 cyle outdoors in my experience, it much depends on the location of the plant in relation to how much sunlight its getting and which part of Aus you live in.

Yeah, but they'll in turn be hermie seeds... Not a good idea mate.

Yes, my understandimg is that hemaphroditism is a dominate gene and will taint most future seed generations into the most unfortuante of plants - the self seeder (and destroyer of decent flowering tops).
