Can I use 400W 20000K MH bulb

Recommended Posts

Thank you, sirvapealot! I have been doing a lot of research, believe me. I researched Jack's nutrients, and finally bought some. Then, I came across SUBCOOL's super soil mix, where all you need to add is water! More than one way to skin a cat, I reckon! I hope everyone does well with what works for them. I just cannot keep from thinking that not too long ago, it was thought that if you sailed out too far in the ocean, you would fall off the end of the earth. I am no rocket scientist, but I do sometimes get a kick out of others (on other sites) who are obviously very high and try to sound like they know it all! What a comedy! I hope to be able to discuss growing techniques with openminded people, such as yourself. Thank you for replying!

That's what my research is showing. I do not know how much heat a MH 20000K bulb will emit, but you will have to have fans and good ventilation with any strong light. Maybe even a small air conditioner. I will attempt to contact the company that sells the bulbs I want to get details on the spectrum. I wonder if more UVB would cause a mutation in any seeds that were produced?

The effects of ultraviolet-B radiation and intraspecific competition on growth, pollination success, and lifetime female fitness in Phacelia campanularia and P. purshii (Hydrophyllaceae) I hope I did some good with this. I tried, anyway. It works! Thanks, lou lou! Oh, OK. I think I posted a link that was not allowed. Sorry about that! It won't happen again.www.elsevier.com/authored_subject_sections/L07/misc/Fitote_80_p207.pdf Let's see if this is better!
