2 weeks out from harvest methodology ! what do you do?

mate i got a pair of 5 inch "fiskars" on ebay for 9 dollars or some bullshit with free delivery!! great deal and took about a week to arrive .. i have 11 females to play with this year so im gunna be trying all different techniques and this read may turn out very helpful for me also!! thanks mate...

A good thing i would do with my plants is when u pull them out from ground they still have a big dreadie of roots. i would then fill a buket of boiling water submerge the roots in the hot water for 15-30 mins. what this dose is shocks the fuk out of it and any remaing energy in the leaves ,stem will shoot out to the flowers to save them.

 

trust me works u can actually see the buds glistening while they bathe

geez haze i have heard of this before would love to see bfore and after pictures of this method i usually never take the whole plant usually top half or most of crown colas and leave the bottom flowering on for a bit longer

im old school , basic flush week from pulling . I tried a few of the shock treatments , no light , 24hr light , no water . didnt seem to make any difference . i prefer to let nature do her thing , just want to flush out the chem taste more than anything

thanks for the input skyhigh yeah those shock treatments still scare me i really would love to see before and after pictures with them shock treatments to really start taking them seriously so who else is got some input

Ok, I use a recirc setup

One week before harvest. Do a flush then Straight pH adjusted tap water (no nutes). Each day empty my resi then fresh pH adjusted tap water again for the whole week. Then chop chop

Hi Lou Lou,

The pH of my tap water is very high. I use a dropper test and my tap water is dark blue, I know that different nutes are available at different pH levels and around 6.5-6.8 gives the best access for the plant to use.

I adjust it to nuetral and at each reflush I test it again. If I left it high it would be difficult/impossible for me to see any pH fluctuations. So when I flush I'm not just flushing salts I'm also flushing pH levels. With each flush cycle my pH levels out.

That's what happens with my setup anyway.
