Recommendations for Cooler Climates

Hello, I am about to move to an area that is cool temperate. There is all day sun. I am looking for recommendations for strains that would suit this type of climate. I prefer sativas over indicas and space is no issue. These will also be grown organically so a hardier less attractive to bugs would be appreicated. I am starting my research and planning my gardens for the next growing season.

For your first grow, outdoors in Tas I would suggest Guerrilla's Gusto by SensiSeeds. It's an indica dominant strain, tough, resilient and about as mould resistant as an indica can be... and pretty cheap to boot.

Did some research on finding the strain like you need mate. Came accross dutch passions mazar. Havent growin it out yet... But hot during the day in afghan and freezing at night.. The frost will turn in purple in colour outdoor too... Pretty mold resistant and yeilds good with the skunk #1 trait.

Mazar is a great strain but I wouldn't call it mould resistant, not the ones I've grown anyway.

Thank you. I do like the Sensi seeds site where they give you info on the temp range and that outdoors. I will prob give Guerrilla's Gusto a go, or maybe one of there other cold/cool outdoor ones. I'll let you all know later this year how they are going. Thanks again

No worries, anything in the cool/cold climate list should be fine for Tassie... but I wouldn't suggest the Jamaican Pearl unless you are around St Helen's where it's a bit sunnier.

I'm in Southern Victoria and have had a fair bit of success with Pot of Gold, indica dominant, and now Red Devil, hard to tell with this one.. Have both growing outdoors and are powering. I've also had NQ x PNG Sativa grow well here.
