what plants make a good disguse for my ladies

Recommended Posts

good evening OS,

ive been searching the site for a bit but i cant find a good thread on plants that i can plant around my girl that will grow roughly the same size, shape, colour etc. i had some corn which did ok but wasnt ideal. looking for somerthing permanent so that the friendly neighbor who always sticks his head over the fence for a chat, doesnt keep noticing that ive got large weeds in my corn patch :twiddle:... so yeah... any suggestion would be great or even just to a link on a forum.

cheers

d&b

there is a plant called stinking roger which ive always reckoned is quite similar to weed. similar shape, look, even smell. but maybe thats not wot u want? could actually attract attention instead. lantana can be trained to work like a screen and looks quite ornamental wen in flower. ummmm, yeh enuffchuffs suggestion of raspberry is good to i reckon. brambles grow fast and can be trained to cover other thing pretty easily. yum fruit too lol!

G'day D&B.

I was going to recommend berry canes to hide your grow, as I recently found a plant has come up, in a large pot I have with a Sylvan berry growing in it. But EC has the same ideas. It must have been there for some time, as it is about a foot or so tall. Believe me I have a true eagle eye where cannabis is concerned. I've also used the standard items such as corn and tomato's. Sunflowers work well too. Lot's of luck, what ever way you decide.

bamboo is also another good cover or once my corn is just about ready to pick i plant climbing beans at the base of them and use them ( the corn) as a trelis and whilst the beans are growing before they finish i plant broad beans in front of them so when i get ready to take out corn /bean runs still got cover with the broad beans i guess whatever you choose try to stay in front of yourself leaving enough planting time to always have cover . little cherry tomatos also work well but they too have a shortish life span
