1st time growing help!

Hey all,

I'm sick to death of having to pay for MJ, so me and my stoner mate have decided to grow our own. But there is a slight problem, we have no idea where to start. We would be growing inside, and we would probably use some sort of box. I spose I can keep updating the thread when we need more help, but for the moment I need the following questions asked:

1. What are the best seeds to buy off MJoz for some beginners, we would like a mix of both active highs and chilled highs (is this possible)?

2. What would be the best indoor set up, what have you used successfully before (ie materials, set up, dimensions)?

3. What fertilizers/light should we use? We want to grow quickly, so wat do you recommend?

no one can give you everything you need to know in a single post. Its up to you to read, look at other people's setups, and then ask as many questions that pop into your brain. After a few weeks of reading the pieces will start to fall into place, then you continue the learning curve through your first few grows. Have a read through the indoor growing faq mate, that should give you an idea or two

 

as for which seeds to get, the best person to ask about that would be rodwal himself.

buy the mixed indoor packet then.

 

and read through the site lots and lots, its pretty easy, but not easy enough to tell you how to do it in a few paragraph's.

1) i would suggest you use seeds u get from friends to start off with till you get more experienced. You would'nt want to spend 100 dollas on 10 - 20 seeds and come up with nothing. rite ?

 

2) it really depends on you circumsances e.g how big do u want to make your setup ?, what kind of system would you like to use & how much money u want to spend. Im a NEWBIE myself and am constructing my Hydro setup.Check this site out it is a very simple setup that is very affective & has pictures.

There is a good book to read in my signature. I would suggest starting with soil first, with an HPS light, but thats your choice.
