Ok.... here goes soem possibly contriversial advice.

I have done what you are intending quite a few times. When I have done it with more advanced plants, they have always started to flower, then revert with the goofy looking leaves thing, before finally kicking in well, three to four weeks later. These last two years, I have done it with 3" high babies and they just pwered along with no probs. Got some in now... can post some shots if you like. I tried the light cycle reduction thing with no luck. It isn't necessarily the # of hours that will start flowering, rather the difference in light intensity that seems to get them going in this case, however the younger you transplant the better IMO.

Hope this helps

I concur with what ya got to say about the inside to outside thing....the twisted leaves etc were it revegging and only tends to make the plant bushier imo...but with the weird weather we have been ahing as of late Ive seen a few outdoor plants start to turn to flower...this just aint a typical summer...

Which is why a number of people myself included like to take clones at the 1.5-2 week mark of flowering...they might take a little loner to root and look a little spastic for a while on ya but end up bushy as feck if thats what you require...

I agree with that fully, except that I haven't had any probs with rooting at all. They seem to root after seven days just like vegy clones. I have them on a heat mat though, which is a must for reliable results IMO. They do take longer to kick into full growth though. I am going to do the same as last year, this time around, which is transfer some of my finished girls into the hydro cupboard after harvest. They go bushy as hell. 3' x 3' scrog generally yeilds me 25 oz plus out of four plants this way.

Glad you like the avitar :P
