Autos, Cloning, North Queensland

Recommended Posts

Hi all, Do you know if its possible to clone off Autos, what would be a good auto for Nth QLD.

I don't have the room for a grow so my idea is to get a auto and clone as many as I can, have a little veg area mabe use a small HID keep them under for maybe 3 weeks plant them out in the scrub and keep the cycle going maybe do 2 or 3 a week or fortnight.

Its not a novel idea I am sure that someone has this going somewere, any input would be appreciated thanks Guys.

No it's not a novel idea and it doesn't work with auto's either. Only plants that respond to changes in the photoperiod can be successfully kept for cloning.

Auto flowering plants do not respond to changes in photoperiod and flower by age rather than flowering in response to the length of the day.

Thanks Lou Lou, Guys well you get that on the big jobs, I did read that somewhere, I have had a break from growing 10 years, using lights keeping to myself as you do, and have some old friends who could really use some for relief, as do I, well things have changed in this field, Autos "what the" ha ha, I will just have to be a bit more creative, thanks again Lou Lou and guys, I am enjoying the community here.
