feeding plants in dirt

Recommended Posts

There is dirt, and there, there is dirt. If you mean that you have chucked in a couple of gobs of dirt out of your garden, then don't bother feeding them at all, cause they will probably drop dead anyway. :P

If you are growing in a good draining potting mix, then yes you can use hydro nutes. Lots of people do with great success. I always use my used nutes on my vege garden and it works great.

How much........????

Potting mix will build up an excess of salts much quicker than other hydro specific mediums. Go for 1/2 strength every second watering, alternating with a good flush of clean water for the other, and you will be fine.

Good luck with the poison. If you've got the right one... It's a killer strain.

Never grown it inside before though.

I've always used Miracle grow. Don't over do it or your pot will taste like shit. I also cut back on it during flowering, for two reasons. Miracle grow is little high in Nitrogen and I like to flush my pot (yes in soil too) with plain water.

Dynamic Lifter is good too, if you don't mind the smell.
