plant overgrwth

Recommended Posts

Hi

my plants have just started flowering about 2 weeks since change over, I probably should of had 3 weeks veg instead of 4, the thing is my plant are in a cupboard and there nearly 4foot high, the lights as high as i can put it so I've started tying down a bit to save the light burn, how much more are they likely to grow and how long can I keep tying back b4 i ruin the buds

It's strain dependent really, if it's a sativa it could continue growing almost indefinitely... a stronger indica influence should finish the majority of it's stretching a few weeks into flower, and then from then it's a process of buds being formed.

Got a pic? The only other thing I can offer is to tie and tie and tie... don't trim the tops because you'll harm yeild, but you can easily use rubber bands, twist tie or other things to train the stems around the grow. If you need to remove a branch because of space then just get rid of it, or at least down to a point where it won't get in the way later...

But yeah, it's mostly dependent on what strain you're growing, what kind of light cycle you had them under and what environmental conditions they're encountering... Hope that helps mate. :D
