I am new to the growing world i need a little advise what would be the ideal time to top or prune my plants and how should i go about this. Another question is i am growing in soil promix, earthworm casting and perlite, can you recomend another mixture i have heard tales of coco and perlite this is supposed to be a great mixture, can you help please.

Theres nothing wrong with your mix. Coco is a good soil and perlite helps it dry out a bit quicker but promix and castings have more nutrients in them than coco so you dont have to add anything until the nutrients are depleted.

Keep an eye on Chev grows again, Chev is doing one of her plants in a coco/perlite mix. I would tip after the 4th node or later depending on how high I was growing the plants. I don't tip more than once and only the top or the plant, not the branches as I prefer chunky heads rather than fairy floss.
