Planting Indica's in Australia

Ok so i have some Indica seed, Early Bud to be precise. But anyway i was reading the other thread about planting now, and was wondering if i should go ahead with the Indica planting now? or wait? and how much bud will indica's get in Australia (nsw) i have heard they dont do too well down here? anyway thanks guys.

yeah man, apparantly some of the indica grow better outdoors in oz than indoors.

i'm currently testing this theory with a few spc indica

OH sweet, i just heard around overgrow and from the owner of planetskunk.com that Aus was for Sativas really, and that our days weren't long enough. any way thanks for the good news, thats a releif.

@spuriuos, more good news, i thought i was fucked when i read that stuff about Indica's, so if you interested, http://overgrow.com/edge/showthread.php?t=368243 , is the thread that i was talking about, saying days weren't long enough and the guys indica's started flowering way too soon.

only thing you have to watch with indicas is mould. they are more susceptible to mould than sativas and with the rain it can be a problem.

I've grown for 15 years, between Carnarvon and Augusta. Nearly every year I 've had both indicas and sativas in.

 

Quite often the indicas will show there sex early and that's all. In fact advantageous (pull males early). Sometimes they will start to flower, then stay in a half-flower-half-veg mode which is fine also. In fact that's good. Tufting and veging from the start, you end up with joined buds from near the base all the way up. Fucking BATS! Brilliant.

That's asking for flowering to happen. Uninterrupted sustained sunlight is the key here. Load up with nitrogen for growth.

ok thanks for the help guys, when i start this grow i will give you some pics - i am noit expecting much yeild, as it is a first grow, i would seriuosly be happy with 100 - 150 grams per 2 plants, im not a heavy smoker at all.
