I finally found some organic nutrients that I want to try soon so instead of losing the link again Im posting it here. Ill post some links to other organic nutes also while Im at it. :(

Natures Own - Guano: [Aussie brand]

Super Grow and Super Bloom

Natures Taste: [the ones I want to try first]

Organic Grow

Organic Bloom

Age Old Organics:

Grow and Bloom

FoxFarm Organics:

Grow Big

Big Bloom

I dont know anything about these products yet Ive seen all but the one I want to try in local shops. Organic fertilizers can have their own thread - I might put some links up if I decide to try them later [ive used composted manures and they were good but its harder to get the right mix IMO].

Your plants look very healthy - I used to grow healthy plants with big leaves like yours [im doing something wrong ATM - maybe water, maybe smoking in the growroom or maybe its too hot - I still dont know yet as I had gnat then heat problems though]. :(

Just a point WB, don't smoke near or handle plants after smoking... If you do, wash your hands most thoroughly before entering the grow and handling plants...

Why? Tobacco Mosaic Virus, that's why.... :( Potentially a problem, but usually you're okay... just take a few basic precautions and you're laughing...

BTW mate, have you heard of "A&B ORGANIC" nutes and boosters? They come in a black bottle with a big orange orchid drawn on the front... They do veg, bloom, and a couple of boosters, one called "100% ORGANIC BOOSTER" and the other called "FLOWER POWER" I'm looking at a little leaflet for em right now... I'll quote from the first page...

A&B Hydro Organic has developed a liquid Organic plant Nutrient based on worm bi-products rich in enzymes, amino acids, humic acid and Vitamins. Utilizing advanced Vermiculture technology, different worm species are farmed to produce a two part Organic Nutrient blend that is also rich in silica, Nitrogen and benificial microbes. The organic Nutrient contains no animal manures that can cause plant disease.

They don't have a website on there, but there is an email address, aandborganic@chariot.net.au

I haven't yet tried them, and I have no idea if they are of any use, but they are sufficiently intrigueing to me that I'll probably give em a go one of these days... just thought you may be interested WB :( :D

Im moving my cupboard into a room by itself to rule out any tobacco problem and to also increase cool air flow. I didnt know why people say dont smoke near them but Ill make sure I dont from now on. :(

Ill try A+B sometime - Ive seen AgeOld and Guano in shops so I might just use one of these first then try a different one for the next few times [they should all be fine but one has to be great for me]. Im sticking with peat+perlite as a medium as I like to water each morning so I should be able to compare the nutes - as long as I dont let my plants get heat/humidity stressed - then I can pick one that suits me. :(

That too, but TMV is one of the most horrible and disastrous viral diseases you can contract in a grow room, and it's pretty darn hard (lab conditions and special meristematic cloning en masse is required... which I doubt too many growers would go through for a personal grow) to get rid of if you've already cloned out the plants... It can result in anything from no apparent effects on yeild or potency thru to massive marking and streaking of the plants leaves and flowers, malformation of flowers and loss of vigour, as well as being far more susceptible to other pathogens and insect pests as a result of the loss of vigour.... and that's just to start with...

It's a serious issue, and I would advise every grower to avoid tobacco products anywhere near there growroom. I grow orchids, so I'm somewhat sensitive about it. If I get Mosaic virus into my plants I have to destroy the lot.... And I mean THE LOT. Not something I plan on doing anytime soon.

In the end, it's your grows, but damn, I know I don't wanna lose my plants and all subsequent generations of those plants from clone to a virus I can easily prevent... :(

Sounds like BioMix is for hydroponics [growing with water] - its probably expensive but if I try expanded clay again Ill try it out for sure. B)

Hmm, seems like Earth Juice can be crossed off the list [although I didnt list it - heh] - ala mad cow disease.
