Weed Wars on Discovery

Only one more episode to go? If so thats a shame i was starting to enjoy it..

 

I read somehwere it was only a 4 part series, hopefully that's wrong. I guess if the ratings are high it'll be back.

Discovery Communications has been sued by a woman who claims the company's Discovery channel stole the idea for its new medical-marijuana docuseries Weed Wars.

Is it me or do they not have a good hiring policy?

 

I know this is a "reality" show and they cannot always be believed with every detail however how come it took one sales staff member to inform the rest that it's not a good idea to agree with the customer that your products aren't good anymore?

 

I would have thought that was common sense and not something necessary to say even in a customer service training course

 

On another note, I would've kicked out that thief instead of thinking about how we was so "dedicated to the cause", a thief is a thief and you don't want idiots creating problems for another industry that's trying it's hardest to succeed against adversity.

 

I like this show for the cause it represents but I don't think this show is doing any good for the non smoking public's perception of medical marijuana, the people just don't make it seem "real" and seem to often have that stoner attitude. (yeah I know but you ain't going to convince the public if you're a "stereotypical weed addict", that's their attitude and we have to adapt to it to make this succeed).

 

I'll keep watching though for the hope that they do change at least some people's minds, I will still cringe sometimes.

True true, unfortunately for this type of show to get good ratings it needs to be entertaining too......I wonder if they find it hard to get staff, especially considering the looming Fed threat......
