leaf curl/claw.... deformed new growth

Indoor/Outdoor: indoor

Growing Medium: perlite... with a 4L chunk of coco in the centre that plants were originally in..

Growing Style: recirc perlite... mini tree's

Watering/Feeding Frequency: every 2hrs for 1 minute

Nutrient Strength (PPM/EC): 1.2-1.4 throughout the whole grow so far

PH Levels:5.8-6.0

Temperature/Humidity Levels:28 degrees... 60RH

Air Flow/Fans etc.: 3 x 250 centris exhaust shitloads more

Lighting Type (CFL/HPS/MH etc.): too many

Total Wattage: alot

Growth Stage:veg about to flower in next day or two

Plants Age: nfi

Cannabis Strain: lemon skunk, devil, s.a.g.e, celtic berry and bubblegum

 

hey folks, bit of a problem with me plants and cant seem to work it out...

 

got this wack leaf claw happening.. from what ive read it could be from major ph fluctuation or could be from the perlite not getting wet enough and causing hot spots in certain areas of the medium ?

 

anyway heres all the pics of this deformed new growth....

all plants are effected, was only the lemon skunks to start with, now 2 weeks later all strains/plants are effected

 

also the newest growth is not only curling its twisting aswell...

nah chron they in perlite, if anything i would think the perlite is not getting wet enough each feed.. as the feeder rings only have 4 outlets, guna change them to 8 outlets tomorra and add another water pump.

 

i flushed the system yesterday and topped up 220L res and adjusted nutes/ph to 1.2EC 5.8ph

 

should mention the ares is 3.4 x 3.4 and all plants are surrounded by vert lights in cooltubes... plenty of em

 

this me first grow in perlite so doing ok... firstly the lemon skunks seen this leaf curl originally when they were in coco pots, then it went away now its back with avengence...

 

dunno wat else i can do....

Bud, beleive it or not you CAN overwater in perlite...

Hey allhailthebud, I've got this same problem at the moment, this is an old thread so I figure you might be able to help out with a soloution? How'd you get em happy again?
