Veg: 24/0 or 18/6?

Heya Goddard =) , gotta agree with Frazz, it's up to the grower which works best for them.

I usually just use 18/6 for Vegging, and if I need to re-veg a plant after flower I will use 24/0, just to give them a kick in the arse, so they realise it's time to Veg again. .

Sometimes they a bit slow on the get go............. Peace . Gh72

I guess I'm sticking to 20/4....because I dont see how much bigger my plant can get in a bucket.....+ 4*80= 320 hrs for a light bulb....money......i could probably raise another plant with the spare change....

Cannabis cultivation will nearly always be worth the $$$ clock123 especially if you are growing half-decent genetics ....... the investment is worth the outcome ... invest if you have to ...

I tend to agree with Syb3, start @ 24/0 for the 1st 2 wks of life, then shift to 18/6 until u want to turn them....I've experimented over the years & have noticed no difference (like wasting ur time boiling the roots).... I have seen a mate hold one @ 18/6 for 6-8wks once (a skunk that yielded over 2 elbows).... The size of the plant seems to be determined by a combination of strain & day length. That skunk was 4 1/2 to 5 mths old at time of harvest, compared to a usual 12-13wk turnaround.
