Recommended Posts

hey guys im almost finished seting up my grow room all i need is 3 fans cooltube and ph/ec testers going to get that tommorow.

i need a 250mm fan for the CF a 200mm for intake and a 200mm for cooltube i really want them to be whisper quiet which brand should i go for also did a room calculation and it says for optimum i need to move 93.2 Cubic Feet per Minute but i want to go for the max which is 110.2 Cubic Feet per Minute i looked at alot of online hydro shops but none of them tell u that info.

also wanted to know how many watts are the fans as i dont want to exceed 1000w for my grow op couse then im better off bying from dealers.

shops in australia use cubic meters rather than feet 93.2 cubic feet is 2.6 cubic meter per minute times that by 60 you will need a fan that moves 158 cubic meters per hour which is really nothing a basic 100-125mm fan would move that amount u would find a 100-150mm fan sufficient one in one out to vent a 1x1m or 1.2x1.2m tent if using a cool tube

or u could just use one centrifugal fan to do the lot a centrifugal fan has the pressure to suck fresh air into your grow chamber up thru the chamber into the carbon filter thru ducting to your cool tube thru the cool tube out more ducting and into the main room but centrifugal fans are louder than a axle inline fan but on the other hand if u compare 3 axle fans to 1 centrifugal fan u might come out even or better using the one centrifugal fan ive heard some of the cheaper centrifugal fans are loud and have seen people highly recommend 150mm westflex fans for performance and quietness
