Yellow Spots, please help with identifying cause

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I am a pretty new grower into my second round, and all has been smooth sailing up until lately. I have found these yellow spots on some leaves to me it looks like something eating it, but not really sure.

FYI this is a autoflower, a buddha white dwarf,

when it was born it had 3 leaves not the normal 2 and has had some LST done to it.

Now i had burnt leaves beofre by misting and then leavingi under lights, but have not done that for some time,

Recently i hav been misting in lights off, During lights off, i have a intake fan running a room fan but no extract fan on.

I htink this girl has another 2-3-4 weeks to go. So i am almost there but dont want some critter eating all the plant.

Also i there are some seedlings in the same cab so if ithere is a bug infestation, i want to get rid of em asap.

If there is anythign else you want to know just ask and thanks for the assistance.

Here are some pics,

Got some other pics of the leaves. Hope these give more insight,

It does not look to be getting worse since i noticed. however i have started killing anything that moves in the grow room.

Photo's are a little dodgy, all i got is a camera phone.

thanks for help[

i have seen similar things before. were they always on that leaf. like did it grow that way or was it fine and then the spots appeared.

sometimes plants with three leaves at the start have pigment problems. i have seen plants with one side of the plant green then the whole other side completely white. but if they appeared later then it seems to be some kind of bleaching. check the undersides of the leaves for any signs of bugs just in case. i wouldnt be to worried though

Could just be minor nutrient burn? I've had similar yellow spots appear on singular leaves before and laying off the nutes usually helps.

Any particular reason you're misting during flowering? Humidity issue? Most usually stop misting in first few weeks of flowering for 912392 different reasons

Also take a look at Neem Oil and/or Rosemary oil for dealing with pests during flowering. Pyrethrum kills the aroma and taste and makes for a rough smoke.
