can i put one plant on 12/12 earlier than the rest?

Recommended Posts

I have 10 plants all at around 8 weeks and have been under 600w hps 24/0 and i switched to 18/6 one week ago. Ive noticed one plant has more budding sites and smells alot stronger and was wondering if i could start the flowering process now on that one while the others remain on 18/6. I would just sperate the one plant for 12 hours in complete darkness then let in rejoin the others?\

Any help would be appreciated, first grow....

Okay thanks, i was worried that one flowering may interrupt the rest.

light after 12hrs of dark will interrupt a flowering plant ....... other than that, any plant recieving more than 12hrs of light will/should stay in veg.....if that makes sense  - im on drink #7 so might be a drunkn ramble lol

Why did you go from 24/0 to 18/6 was my first question and yes you can go to 12/12, as long as it is in complete darkness.

I was told that going to 18/6 ease's them into 12/12 and it lowers their stress levels,

I am going to to put the one plant in 12/12 tommorow and see how she goes. I t will give me time to prepare for the others going into flowering.

These are some photos of them at about 5 weeks, will post more tommorow.

Any advice and ideas are appreciated.
