Indoor temps

Hey there everyone just wondering how the hell we are supposed to keep our grow room temps below 30c. Its not even summer yet and in already struggling I have loads of fans etc but the best I can hope for is to match outside temps. Air con is not an option. Does it really make that much difference and is there anything I can do about it.

if u dont have a closed off room i wouldnt worry about it my old grow room use to reach 42-43c just give the plants plenty water if not growing in a hydroponic system

so the hps/mh lights generate the heat, cool-tubes which draw air across the globes' surface and extract the hot air to outside the G-room maybe the best way to reduce the heat generated by the lights

 

like Gazza, i too have run G-room temps in the mid to high 30s

and whilst the plants arent entirely happy with it they still pull through

 

albeit, in my experience it may have reduced the weight of final harvest slightly

it was still an ok grow, and the smoko was potent

Yeah I have cool tubes and all the other Bells and whistles. I can match the temp outside but have no way to get it down below 30

Just heard that the heat will make my buds all airy and wanted to avoid that if possible but I guess what will be will be

will a 200mm fan for cool tube and then another 250mm for CF and a 200mm for intake fan do the job? the room temp is usualy below outside temps by 4-5C but im thinking of leaving a window open abit so i cant draw fresh air for my intake

how longs a peice of string ? i mean...how big is the room and how much watts?

a open window will allow u to suck air in but it will also suck a small amount of air back out and that u dont want along with that will go the smell plus its an invitation to get robbed theifs love open windows

the tent is 1.2x1.2 and 600w hps

i did check cannaversity but dont really get how to use it properly.

 

the window will only be open slightly and i will have a CF in there and hoping to get that negative pressure thing going so all the air leaving the tent will be going out into a vent in the wall(wich is at the bottom of the wall for some reason) also the neigboorhood is really quiet so an unlikely chance of thieves

yeah u will be fine just remember if the outdoors temp is 40c u cannot get your tent down to 24c.... run your cool tube and two other fans u will be fine i used a 400w in a cool tube with a 150mm fan for exhausting the tent and thru a cf in a small tent .9x.5x1.6m i was running up close to 40c from memory

u wont get airy buds unless u dont use enough light, have shit strains,or dont water your plants enough we live in australia not antarctica australia is a desert just remember when you grow indoors your trying to create the great outdoors but with favorable conditions one thing u cant control in summer is the heat unless u run a closed off grow room but thats a whole new ball game when setting up a room or tent i just toss a fan here a fan there and be done with it i just let my plants grow thru the hot days when it comes down to it the cost of running a aircon all day/night plus the light just isnt worth it to me it'll cost more to grow the buds than to buy some

heres my last grow the date is april i think thats still in summer anyway the plants grew right thru summer no loose buds here although the heat did make the plant a little lanky i also used rock juice but think i would have gotten similar style buds
