Kill Bill was and is one of the greatest tarantino flicks of all time. I'm sorry for all those geeks who don't think the story adds up or that it was to bloody. The story is not an issue. It's a torrential downpoar of arterial spray from start to finish; the 20 minute massacre scene at the end is pure blood spattered poetry. Flashes of white light monocrome, chapters painted in exquisite japanese anime and silhouetted ballets of utter mayhem: kill bill is as stylisticly beautiful as it is verbally uncompromising. And violent. So violent

Taranteeno films are all about messed up and out of place plots , it is the uniqueness that makes them stand out , I actually thought that kill bill was pretty tamed for taranteeno but still a fantastic film none the less, the seccond one is good aswell but I can't say that it was as good as the first

I reckon the best movies i have seen were faithful adaptations of Stephen King stories i.e. Shawshank redemption, The Green Mile. I walked out of the cinema moved by the experience of a story well told. I was also able to relate to the characters as human beings with flaws and emotions. The only thing Tarantinos movies move me to is a bowel movement. His characters all appear to be comic book killing machines. On a personal level Im afraid I find the trend towards extreme shocking repetitive violence in movies quite intellectually vacuous and distasteful.

Tarantino is good at making his movies appeal to a young affluent audience but in no way would i consider him an artist, just a good salesman. And unfortunately our society seems to be buying it.
