100kg of stale cannabis dumped in creek near Warrnambool

If you think about it theres probably hundreds of pounds of trichrome coated tip being destoryed eveyday day by commercial growers in Australia. I mean think about how much bud is grown and sold thoughout the country everyday, yet no hash industry. They must be just destorying the tip.

 

Seems like a waste to me. But from the growers point of view it probably makes good sense. I mean large amounts of hash would be really hard to get rid of in Australia and if you get done with it the penalty is going to be much harsher than if you just get done with bud.

 

It would be nice to know a few commercial growers so you could help them dispense of it.

I guess your right, and I wondered what happend to Hash in this country (did someone make a deal with someone else so Hash vanished?)

No one really knows how to smoke Hash now and having put a block of the stuff infront of more than one aged experienced smoker and hear

"whats that" ??!! ...... I also wonder if the bright sparks in blue gettn arongd right now would have the same reaction.

30-odd yrs ago hash used to be imported by the ton into Melbourne

top quality black putty $200-300 an oz

 

but it didnt take long for crims to realise that it was far more profitable to bring in heroin or cocaine in smaller lots

also when customs and cops woke up to what was coming in it became far more difficult to bring in tons of the stuff

 

Australia only got turned on to drugs in a big way 40 odd years ago

and that was thru American G.I.'s coming into Sydney for Rest & Recreation from the Vietnam war

the yanks brought the good Thai sticks, hash and heroin direct from South-east asia with them to party

cause customs intially never looked inside the the US air force planes that brought the soliders and drugs with them

there was plenty for all ... but the war soon finished,

yet Australia's appetite for drugs was already entrenched and it needed to be fed

 

the crims up the Cross rubbed their hands with glee when they saw this great new enterprise of drug importation

and they started doing it themselves and it was just a natural progression from Cannabis and hash to LSD, to herion, to cocaine, to designer drugs, amphetamines and pills

 

nowadays young cops are well schooled up in drugs including hash

 

try putting a block of hash in front of me and both the hash and me will be gone in a flash

A mate used to grow for his own use and I asked one day what he did with the leaf & tip. I throw it out he answered in a tone that screamed, 'Why, what else would you do with it?'
