heres a photo of what i thought were both the same strain (AK47/C99)........unless maybe i got my seeds a bit mixed up

as u can see one is alot taller than the other one which is shorter but bushier...maybe the taler one is more sativa dominant? i dont know which of my plants are boys or girls yet, wish they would hurry up an start flowering though....

yeah dude, it's more than likely the seeds. you never know what the plant is going to revert back to. or yeah maybe you just mixed em up

The one on the right looks very stretched, did they both grow up in same spot having the same amount of light ?

Tall one may end up being male. Shorter one female. Wait and see.

The foliage (leaf characteristics) look the same.

 

Also, are they hybrids? Did you breed them yourself? If they are then this sort of variation of occurs between siblings.

 

Watch the garden grow--> looking good for you next year mate. Chop the top off the short one and watch it go mental!!!

 

If the tall one is female (?) if you're lucky, let it get a little bit bigger and train it all over the place.

Im going with the last two suggestions - males grow taller but you never know.

I'm glad someone said it it more than likely a MALE. male plants need to grow taller & faster in nature to better the chances 2 pollenate more females .

Males can be somewhat taller with longer internodal distance, but that is an extreme case of stretch there. Much more than you'd normally get in a male vs female in the same strain. I'd tend to agree with Buddy in that some environmental factors have caused the plant to stretch.

yeah they have been in the same wardrobe under same light, maybe one was further away from the light or started later, or when i put them outside one was in a slighlty shadier spot, coz now i think about it they were the same size when i first put them outside i think

anyway i had to move em back inside on sunday coz the landlord wanted to come round that day to fix something in the lil yard where i keep em. Anywayz i just want them to start flowering already, im getting impatient for my finished product, had a sample of the leaves which are pretty potent in themselves so the buds are gonna be a killer, Ak47/C99 is the strain which is sposed to be strong. Is it too late to tie em down? they are getting a bit tall for a stealth yard grow....

Oh yeah nodoubt AK47/C99 are great strains & a mix of the two should produce some sweet nugs 4 sure . & very powerful from what I have been told the c99 is some potent shit almost (scarry) buzz but thats
