this is an old post, but yeah I got one like that and it works pretty good. Just heat with a lighter from underneath. Good for portability.

 

works best with honey oil or hash. herb can be a little tricky though cause even a gentle toke will suck it into your mouth. Especially when its ground up fine as that works best when trying to vape. Give it a little shake side to side to help heat more evenly to vape rather than burn. I also stuff a bit of tissue in as a filter and also prevents sucking herb up the pipe neck.
