yeh mate thrive is ok to use for your medium....work your way up from 50% dose now to 100% in 3-4 days....

Thrive is ok but not ideal...altho Im not proficient in soil cept coco ::P: and in this weather ya might need to water them with plain water as well to keep em healthy..I am personally trialling a white lable gws outside..and its loving its nutes every two days and waterings inbetween...and that recent sun is making em go boonta

Sorry, but thrive is in my opinion the worst commercial fertiliser brand out there... Get a good mj specific nute, there are so many out there and are so cheap you're just so much better off with one instead of thrive.

Not saying you can't grow in it, but it's cheap for a reason guys, it's shit for growing pot. :P

If you have to, use weakly, weekly. And irrigate with plain water before ferting any plants. I don't think there's ever a call to use a fertiliser at full strength, plants grow better when lightly ferted, particularly in potting mix. If you've got nutes in the pots already, I'd say keep it at 1/4 to 1/2 strength with every few waterings.... (So water with plain water for 3 irrigations depending on the weather, then a fertiliser watering.) If this isn't enough nutes to grow weed, then there's something else wrong with your setup. :P

Being a long time hydro grower experimenting with indoor soil, I found that Miracle grow was ideal for the veg stage then when I turned them the end result was disapointing because the plants needed more potassium and phosperous in the flowering stage.

I've just turned another lot of plants and I went and bought some Yate's fruit and flower nutrients that has the required nutrients and hopefully I'll do better in soil this time.

I also picked up some Yate's trace elements just in case they need a little help with something they lack. lol

hay buddy , I dont know where you are in the world but , here in the US

we have alot of shitty ferts( Mostly chem) . but some are good like liquid Karma,Fox Farms, budswel, AgeOld,B-cuzz,Guano . to name a few . I 've grow in soil 4 years . & I like the Superthrive/AgeOld/budswel mix/ My plants have a very sweet taste

when I use guano like budswel . just my 2 cents . maybe if I need help with Hydo I could ask you ya.??

Thanks for the info on the different ferts...Im not sure if those brands are available where I come from, maybe someone else here would know.

Being an Australian site, Im from Australia like most others here and sure, if there's anyway I can help with hydro information feel free to ask.

As you can see, I'm not a soily and mixing up organic concoctions is of no interest to me :P its just that I had too many clones to play with and rather than kill them I decided to throw them in some dirt and give the harvest to the needy for xmas. :P
