Cool Johny, I hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

watched 4 eps last night.

Teh first ep started a little badly,

thay sorta rushed ploted development and found the first chemist a little too easy.

but the story is really interesting. I rekkon the cooky scientist makes the show.

lol he has his own lab and brews his own dissociatives, as well as perform miraculose science.

Here's the run down of my opinion on Dexter.

Season 1 - fucking epic. the best. they should have saved this for last because this was the coolest shit. If i hadn't had it spoiled i think it would have been like, woah.

Season 2 - pretty good but again they did this story WAY too early

Season 3 - eh, it was decent but nothing of extreme interest. same old same old.

Season 4 - 2nd best so far. trinity was great and the build up and then twist ending was fantastic.

Season 5 - worst so far imo. predictable. this was the season i looked forward to the most but then it was just a let down. the villians were lame and lumen was too predictable. i was hoping at least deb would find out about dexter in this season but nope. same old shit.

Season 6 - liking it so far, but that said i was fairly into season 5 at three episodes in so who knows how this may turn out. the villans seem cool and we don't really know what they're about yet. their killings are pretty fucking whicked.

The future? They need to wrap Dexter up by either the end of this season or season 7. I think i'd prefer an entire season dedicated to Dexter's "downfall". Now that he has a son though i really hope it concludes with all his secrets coming out and him having to flee. Personally i'd make season 7 about a cartel or something that dexter is determined to take down, take their money and flee. Of course for this to work there has to be a catalyst for his desire to escape. Perhaps at the end of season 6 dexter should mess up a kill and lead police to believe that the so called "Bay Harbor Butcher" was never Doakes.

Easily done in my opinion just have Dexter kill somebody in the plastic wrap but have the victims screams heard and dexter has to flee the scene fast. Then Deb who would now be a fully capable Lt. would be on the case with her team. Dexter then decides he got lucky once but now that he has a son he has to prepare an escape. Also going on would be a series of vicious cartel murders and Dexter would decide to have a final kill spree on them, take their cash and get the fuck out of there. I've really waffled on but yeah these are my thoughts

no one has really nailed a good series, most seem to want to ring it for all its got and then write in a believable endind when the ttime is right.

Dexter on the run, that would make a great final series, does he get caught or go the way of the tooth fairy?

gotta disagree with you here. While they milk some things some things don't last that long. The Wire went for 5 seasons even though there was definite demand for it to continue. The problem with Dexter is that it really can't keep topping itself forever.

Well its worth a look in if you get the time. Season 3 it gets really interesting with alternate realities. There is a good inception stle cartoon episode that really shows off the producers imagination also.

Dexter stepped up a gear this season. I'm wondering how much longer it can keep going though.

This may be the last season of Dexter, without letting it drag on and dye out this season could end with the many errors he ahs made so far.

The last being the 911 call he made about DDK hiding out on a boat, that shit is recorded. Deb could easily come across a voice recording she would recognise immediatly.

Let not forget the road trip took with his dead serial killer brother.

The Pen Deb found is from the hotel that used to be owned by a WAY to paranoid pot dealer who is now at the bottom of a grain storage unit.

Themes of forgiveness and redemption and an Apocolyptic main story ...

I hope they do at least one more ... Dexter on the run could be intersting. He's tried to leave several times, now he may have to.
