Darkness before harvest ?

You want more resin secretion, dry out the air. Probably best to do in the week before harvest, unless you need to lower the humidity sooner. Plants supposedly secrete more resin in a drier environment as a defense mechanism, but the more resin doesn't mean more punch, need the oil in the glands for that. Not sure if a consistently dry environment has a negative impact on oil production, but would welcome any knowledge if any body is in the know.

No I didn't. That was the killer for me. I lost over 2 oz. Still on a steep learning curve. I just harvested my pineapple Kush and didn't bother doing it again. I also did the 3 days of darkness on other plants & saw no difference.
