WASTED" was the operative word when two Ballina Shire Council workers got more than they bargained for after a colleague gave them a couple of cookies for morning smoko.

What's with people giving others baked goods without telling them. It's just giving us a bad reputation. Someone always seems to freak out and think they have to go to hospital, then people make a news report and believe that cannabis has the ability to hospitalise you (not just from freaking out).

There are some true fuckwits about. If they get pinched by the filth for this, terrific, they shouldn't be on the streets. They are just wasting good oxygen. If anyone dosed any of my family, they would really regret their folly.

I got up to this part and stopped readinig:

 

"The two workers from the council's waste management centre were unaware the cookies allegedly contained cannabis and became ill, with one requiring hospitalisation. He told co-workers he felt paralysed from the waist down and feared he was having a heart attack."

 

I suppose it's not the journalists fault but jeez, I thought council workers were generally harder than that. I'm sure he could sink more than a few beers before ending up in hospital!

 

Edit: Now that I think about it, I'm sure if you talk to any Hospital staff they'll tell you that a good number of admissions do not need to be at the hospital at all. So I would imagine this too would've been another case of "sit him in the corner and when he stops spewing, go home" while the nurse walks away and sighs.

so true gives us all a bad name......and being a council worker im sure he takes codine for pain thos hard days at work, so much worse than weed, grinds my gears
