Marijuana Hops?

Hi all.

Great site!

I'm an ex-Pom. Been here in the land of Oz many years.

In the U.K. I have heard of people grafting a hop vine to the Marijuana plant. The hop vine will grow looking like a normal hop, but still will have as much THC as the weed it was grafted to. Tricky for the Cops to detect. Apparently it tastes like hops to smoke, but it will get you just as stoned as weed. Also good for brewing Cannabeer.

Anyone heard of this?

Any tips?

I have heard of this and after alot of net surfing and contacting a few hops growers, the grafting of hops onto Mj can be done but the hops does not contain THC

arnt Hops a restricted plant in AU anyways??

 

I read alot up on this and Dr Atomic has a book out about it, aparently it does work, but i also think its BS. but havent tried it either.

hops isn't restricted, looks like I will have do abit more research on the subject.

yeah the grafts work, but if you graft hops onto a marijuana stem the hops part of the plant makes no THC, if you graft cannabis onto a hops stem you get a slow growing cannabis plant.

Shame it sounds like it is Bullshit. Suppose I'll have to keep growing in the good old fashioned way.

Anyone know if you can graft anything else so that still get the THC? I've had so much trouble with the cops here in Queensland. Be nice to grow without hiding it all the time. Could be jail for me if I get caught again.
