I wouldn't worry about the smell of a few plants. A sandwiched filter on your exhaust ducting with a little pot puree will solve that problem. hydro shops sell odour sponges as well. if they ever sniff anything out you can just say its bong smoke.

 

I'm not sure on this, but I think if a grow is busted everyone living in the house at the time is charged, whether the police can prove their involvement or not. something to bear in mind....
