Police seize cannabis crop

Recommended Posts

Cannabis and plants with an estimated street value of $266,000 have been seized from a property near Bannaby on Saturday by Goulburn police and drug squad detectives.

A local man was arrested, charged and bailed to appear in court on a later date in relation to the 52 plants found growing plus seeds, equipment and processed cannabis leaf.

Police have issued a warning to dog owners to ensure that their animals are not allowed to run loose after numerous complaints of dogs attacking sheep throughout the Goulburn district.

Hefty penalties including the destruction of the dogs can apply over offending animals.
