grow lush grow tent strength?

HI there all if you didnt read my old post i have decided to go with a 150mm cent fan and a 150mm by 500mm carbon filter with my grow lush grow tent and atm i have my filter hanging from the crappy white braces that go across the top of the tent as there is no extras support bars for this tent. and the pipe corner joiners are bending a little. I am just wondering if anyone has used a grow lush tent and hung their filters from anywhere else on the tent or used some sort of stand that the filter can sit on top of or be strapped to?? sorry for the rant i have been googling this for ages and i cant find any info on growlush tents so thanks for the replies in advance i should be in bed 5am start for work.

I was thinking of strapping the filter to the upwards poles but i cant think of a way to hold it there:S as i am not the greatest with mechanical thinking.

Many ways to hold it upright on the poles, String, wire, tape just to name a few. Sheesh man think outside the box, you won't loose much room having it sit in the bottom corner. You could make a stonger bar to hang from or reinforce your joints, you can also buy stronger joints for your tent.

Wouldn't have trusted it to hold a proper carbon filter, was bowing enough with an odorsok + 150mm inline.

 

Assuming it's the same type of joints etc anyways

I use a home box and have a massive carbon filter hanging off it no worries. Its got a 50kg load rating. Hydro shop guy said don't buy cheap tents.

get a piece of 2x4 long enough to reach high enough have one end of the 2x4 sit on the floor cable tie the 2x4 to one of the back metal frame bars than just balance your filter on top of the 2x4 and run some long or even joint cable ties around the filter and frame to hold it secure the other option would be to goto bunnings and buy a L bracket used for shelfs ive seen some strong fuckers there that wont bend with the weight of your filter than just drill and bolt the L bracket to your frame sit the filter onto of the L bracket
