hey people,

Bought the subj a while ago on hydroshop assistant's advice so have to stick with it for my first setup i'm building now

The odour suppression is of concern and i'm trying to work out what sort of filter would best fit with it

If anyone's had experience with it, would u pls brief on what sort of filter you are use and how you power it ie. on/off with time intervals or constantly

Having done some research, I'm coming to realize a carbon option wouldn't be best for axial fans, but, like I said, can't get rid of it and go for a centrifugal one, unless there are too convincing pros

My grow room is 1x1x1.8 (m) . Even though hydro shop salesman said I supposed to keep this fan up n running 24/7, yet I'm very confused `cause after simple calculations

my room refresh time is 19 seconds (w/t a filter), way below common assumption of 5 min (almost 16 times less).

That prompts me to think to have it up and running 24/7 would be an overkill with such a huge airflow

Might be a spare room for a filter back pressure, but this needs backed by someone's experience

thx vm in advance

Too stoned to give you a comprehensive answer, but just a little advice. As you are filtering I assume smell is an issue. You will want to run your fan and filter 24/7 to control smell, if the fan is off smell will leak out everywhere in flower.

Naycha :peace:

:) gosh, wouldn't have thought of that. That changes a lot. Thanks!
