powdery fungus

Recommended Posts

I have to agree with the Rev

Airflow, airflow, airflow. I've had a similair experience with a 'mildew like growth' on the leaves that developed into mould in the bud.

I had air flow but I had it setup wrong and the air wasn't flowing through the canopy, also my fans weren't strong enough for the space I used and the moisture built up in the bud zone

Giving the mould the perfect environment to bloom.

Personally I'd be painting the inside of that drobe with a cheap ceiling white or covering the inside walls with panda plastic for more light reflection

Mould loves dark damp environs. More fan, more light and you'll have less areas for mould to grow.

Getting rid of it now will be difficult, but again I agree with the Rev. Before starting again, wipe ALL surfaces down with a bleach solution. Bleach kills mould.

I use ducting and I use a mop and bleach solution to wipe over the inside of the ducting to kill mould spores in the ducting.

Hope it helps

G'day KGR.

You got it bad mate, whatever it is. Before you do another run, you might need to wash your entire grow room out with a White King or Sanichlor solution. Then leave it open for a week, with your fans running, to dry out completely. This will kill the spores. If it's really bad you may need to do this twice. I'm pretty sure this will clear it up, hope this helps. :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:
