These are pic’s of a plant just chopped, it was from bag seed, Did not like it at all, very airy, only left it because I had nothing to replace it with. But that all changed, it has been replaced with by a Tahoe OG Kush (see grow diary). The reason I posted the pic’s was to show the penetration a 1000w has, the plant still had a couple of weeks to go so it would probably thickened up some more but it had to go. If you look at the buds you can see a fairly even thickness from top to bottom. The 1000 does a good job, 800mm of usually good thick bud.

The light is in the horizotal position, I run a cool tube and it's all on a light mover. The light moves about 1metre with a 25sec delay at each end, because it's on the mover I can hang the cool tube about 50mm above the plants except at the ends where I keep them 100mm away from the hot end of the tube.
