Newshawking?

Do you guys know about MAPinc.org? They archive illicit drug articles and letters from newspapers all over the world, it's an amazing resource and a great way to keep up to date with the news.

Unfortunately there's hardly anyone newshawking in Australia. boulder has posted a few articles here in the last few weeks (and many more I'm assuming), but if they were all posted to MAPinc.org then the whole world could be reading them and learning. MAPinc syndicates their news via XML feeds to all of the major cannabis/drug websites, and they're all sent out by mailing list to subscribers. Articles and letters inspire even more letters, particularly from overseas when they can get themselves published, but very few people seem to be using this resource in Australia.

I've been covering WA, but it would be really great if a few people here volunteered to keep an eye out for relevent articles in other states. It only takes an hour a week, if you already read your local paper just keep an eye out and if you see something relevent go grab it from their website or type it up for the archive. NT is now getting some good coverage from NAP, but most of the other states are under-reported. It really helps us to know what's happening around the world, let alone in our own backyard. At the very least, it helps to keep these issues alive. I hope some of you can donate a bit of time, greater communication and information is vital for us to reach critical mass and legalise.

Please help! :)
