hi recently ordered some beans and got the out door mix, my question is can i grow them in a box that is about 50 cm tall and just keep it on 12/12 so it stunts the growth? oh the box is powered by a 105 watt cfl

hey there, you can grow any strain anywhere you like. given the right care, seedlings will grow into mature plants just about anywhere in the world. grown indoors, the chances of producing decent buds are alot higher.

when growing indoors, there is alot more margin for error due to the fact that the plants environment is created by you and not nature. if you cant provide the right environment then your plants wont do too well.

what are the other dimensions of the box you plan to grow in? what growing media are you going to use? how are you going to provide water for the plants? how are you going to ventilate this grow box?

for us to give you good advice, we need more information.

also 105 watts of cfl lighting wont help you produce decent buds.

have a look through the cannabis cultivation nursery in the growroom construction, lighting and ventilation and the nutrients and mediums subforums. check cannaversity aswell, it should answer any questions you may have. if not then try the search function.

hey mate i asked the same question a few months back and i was told by fellow members if you get a sativa it will be hitting the roof in ya grow room in no time and iv got alot more room than you have mate and turning them on 12/12 wont stunt them most likey flower

hey dude, ive just grown some bagseed, sattys, in a small space under cfl, the sattys will want to get tall, its built in to the genetics, even if you LST them you wont have enough room, for them to mature and flower.

 

ive just put mine outside, and ive started a indica grow indoors.

 

do a heap of homework mate, read the entire cannaversity section, and take notes.
