Cannabis for AIDS Victims

A strange aspect of the mull culture is that a freind of mine whom has been buying about $100 a fortnight for pain cause by the myriad of diseases brought on by AIDS does not want to risk placing some plants inside under lights. I was amazed as I had offered to supply the lights and seed stock for free. The reason being is that she considers cultivation so illegal so refuses to risk it EVEN THOUGH she has less than five years to live. I have argued with her that with her disease she would be more than justified in growing it inside and wouldn't attrack any flak from the system. How do I convince the masses of mullers that indoor crops are not so bad? Hydro DOES NOT affect the plants genetics or alter it's affects other than to increase them. And growing a plant does not make you a criminal.

If she's only got 5 years to live and is happy buying I'd let her be. Why put extra stress in her life? There's no use forcing other people to do what you believe is right. Also, if something did go wrong and she got busted she'd blame you.

unless i have been misinformed there are higher penalties for indoor growing as opposed to outdoor.

She only smokes $100 a fortnight. Whats that like 4 ounces per crop?? you can sacrifice 4 oz per crop if shes a good friend and you dont wanna see her wasting her money.

I can understand her concern. And it's probably not something that's high on her list of priorities at the moment. So, if you and a few mates grow, see if you can arrange something like WC's suggested

I believe one of the conditions included by NSW govt in mj trials WILL include AIDS but it will probaly be a derivative of 1-THC admin as a nasal spray, tablet or liquid from my info not permission to grow or buy (like in US) I don't know if this is any help but it ends the criminal aspect of mj use and it would be a lot cheaper and more consistent effects, no more wondering how many cones till the pain will stop when you buy something new. Cheers and I hope other govts will start similar trials in other states /territories
