oh no ph

g'day readers ive been reading the forums for a while and got alot of awsome info but i now have a problem

been growing seeddlings in a recirculating two bucket set up no real dramas with ph or ppm under a 250w mh

decided to flip them and made a couple of drip feed dwc/bubbler tubs and put them under a 600 hps

all good

after a couple of days my ph is soaring and i cant keep it down

ive used all my ph down and 2l of apple cider vinegar

i can bring the ph back to around 5.5 but when i get up in the morn for my ogle the ph has been around 7.5-8

HELP

they were doin g really well before i changed them out of the perlite

i threw the perlite to the shit house

 

yeah they are in water with airstones

ph is steadier this morn but leaves look shit

some have gone yellow with black spots

wish i knew how to post photos

use Hydrocloric acid for your ph down from bunning bout $10 ltr. Will last for ages you only need a few drops for 10ltr. Remember they will take a few days to start looking better. Leaves do deteraiate with age also.

I pulled them out of the tubs and cleaned the roots in ph'd water they had slimey shit on them don't know if its from the vinegar or what and I dumped all the water and started again

Fingers crossed they will be lovely green again soon

dont use vinegar its not stable enough for ph adjusting
